CONCORD COLLEGIATE SINGERS AND CONCHORDS TO PERFORM WINTER CONCERT AND SING-ALONG

ATHENS, WV – The Concord Collegiate Singers and ConChords will perform an end of semester concert on Wednesday, November 29th at 6:30 PM in the chapel at University Point on the Concord campus. The concert will feature beautiful classic melodies, and a sing-along of holiday favorites. The ensembles are directed by Jordan Stadvec and accompanied by Dr. Jacob Womack.

Jordan Stadvec is the new Choir Director at Concord University. A native of Princeton, Ms. Stadvec was a graduate of Concord University in 2012. From Concord, she went on to earn both her Masters Degree and Artist Diploma from the highly esteemed University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music. She has participated in many Young Artist Programs, competitions, and concerts and played a great variety of roles in productions. She has directed several ensembles, taught both voice and piano, and has experience as a collaborative pianist. For more information, please visit www.jordanstadvec.com.

Dr. Jacob Womack joined the faculty at Concord in 2013 and teaches courses in applied piano, group piano, music history, elementary music education, and introduction to music. He also serves as the collaborative pianist for the music program and is the university carillonneur. Womack’s performance interest includes both jazz and classical piano. Womack received a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from West Virginia University, Masters of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from West Virginia University.
