Biography

Beth Little is a graphic designer and illustrator who has been working professionally in both fields since 1997. She enjoys projects that allow her to combine her favorite elements from both disciplines. As a designer, she has specialized in print/publication design, creating advertisements, postcards, logos, and newspaper/magazine layouts. She has also created posters, editorial illustrations, portraits, book covers, and interior book illustrations. In addition, Beth is a fine artist who loves working with oils, watercolor, graphite, and charcoal. She grew up in Tazewell County, Virginia, and graduated from Richlands High School as valedictorian in 1995. Then she relocated to the Phoenix, Arizona area for just over 20 years where she obtained her AA from Collins College (1996) and her BFA from Arizona State University (2007). In 2017, she relocated again to Roanoke, Virginia, and completed her MFA online through SCAD (2022). She is now excited to return to the mountains where she grew up and share her knowledge and experience with the students of Concord University.
