ATHENS, W.Va. – Dr. Jacob Womack, the Dr. Joseph F. Marsh Endowed Associate Professor of Music at Concord University, will preform popular piano pieces in the classical and jazz repertoire on Tuesday, August 23 at 7 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts auditorium on Concord’s Athens campus.
The program will feature popular and well-loved piano classics such as Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude, Gershwin Preludes, and more. This recital is open to the public and admission is free.
Dr. Womack is a native of Beckley, West Virginia and studied piano with John Yurick during middle and high school. He attended WVU and Penn State University after graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 2003.
