Hawks, Kathy

I am a Professor of Education and the Coordinator of Clinical Experiences. I have been a member of the Concord Faculty since 2000. I teach in the elementary program at the undergraduate level and reading specialist program at the graduate level. Before coming to Concord, I taught in the public school for 21 years. I taught second, third, and fifth grades, and served as a reading specialist. Teaching is not what I do, it is who I am. Teachers have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of their love bugs each day.

Outside interest: I enjoy spending time with my six grandchildren, eating out, and working at my church.
