Pace, Lori

Lori Pace began as an adjunct for Concord University’s Sociology in 1999 and is now full time faculty teaching Criminology courses for the major’s emphasis in Criminology. Courses include Violence in America, Criminology, Crime & Justice Systems, Survey of Serial Killers, Crime Scenes, Deviance, Reentry & Recidivism, and Policing. Ms. Pace has community stakeholders contribute to content for practical and professional experiences for the students including WV State Police, Probation & Parole, Reentry Councils, Prosecuting Attorneys, Judges, Federal and State Prisons, the Center for Children’s Justice, and Advocates for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. With a focus on social justice, Ms. Pace’s students have done thousands of hours of service and volunteering to benefit local organizations and agencies in southern WV. Interns under her guidance have field experience in all types of social services, corrections, law enforcement, local government, shelters, courts, business, and educational settings.

Additionally Ms. Pace has been a foster parent trainer for the PRIDE program in Region IV for over twenty years.
