Daniel Spurgeon is the Director of Music at the United Methodist Temple in Beckley, WV. He holds degrees in music and organ from Marshall University and the College Conservatory at the University of Cincinnati. The program will include well known themes from movies and popular culture.

The theme of this program is to celebrate Women’s History Month. Stadvec and Womack will be performing Libby Larsen’s “Try Me Good King” which features the last words of the wives of Henry VIII; Peter Mack’s Preach Sister Preach which features quotes from famous women about women; and Lili Boulanger’s “You Gazed at Me with your Soul”.

Recitals, concerts, workshops, and lectures on the carillon. The event will features some of North America’s most prominent carillonneurs. Registration will be open starting in March and more information will be provided soon. Specific concert dates and times will be announced in March. Plan to bring a blanket or lawn chair and hear some incredible carillon music!
